At the end of the campaign he had contributed nothing and instead made money by selling Trump wine, water and meeting room space to the committee. BTW, do not believe the lie about not accepting the Presidential salary. A man who puts his entire family on the government payroll and has a history of never giving any of his own money to charities simply does not "donate his salary". I am sure it was simply directly deposited to his bank account. Who would know the difference?
