Social media was bombarded 24/7 by IRA (Putin's propaganda office) with false claims about Clinton and constant praises for the talents of "successful businessman" Trumpsky. The "advertising" was not paid by the Trump campaign (which is the norm) and would have costs hunderds of millions. I don't understand why this was not a violation of law for soft dollar contributions by non-US persons. Putin did it at no financial cost, but Trump had and has a debt to be repaid. This is in addition to the actually cash the Russians put up to suddenly bail Trump out of bankruptcy. The UK golf resorts were all paid for with Russian money, supposedly the "Bratva".
