Russia`s Kinzhal missile is just an upgraded ballistic missile from the 80`s , nothing new at all, and Zircon `maybe` operational by the end of the year? , I'm guessing there will be something better or as good by then from the US.. ... and said many times about Russia`s `hypersonic` weapons , its more useful as a psychological tool rather than as a military asset.

  2.  @mastermariner490  The old AIM-54 Phoenix could be made hypersonic by changing the flight trajectory and launching at high speed... so its not about the `hypersonic ` speed , its the guidance that matters.
