Russia just cant dictate who and what countries are allowed anything or they will invade. You say NATO on the border of Russia is a " security threat " Sweden is on the border ... why not invade Sweden ? Russia threaten the West with nukes almost every week ... I don't see any hostilities through that ! Bottom line is Putin thinks he has something to prove, and he's dropped the good Russia people back to the Stone Age for his own gains.
