  1. Well if you class the Kinzhal as a " hypersonic" missile , that would go to the US just after WW2 with a modified V2 !

  2.  @z-America  What exactly do you think the Kinzhal is ? ...Its a ballistic missile air launced for the extra boost on a "quasi ballistic" path ... nothing more. On that basis the US made exactly the same missile in the 1950`s with the GAM-87 Skybolt ! ...Do we call that a hypersonic missile since it got to Mach12 ? You really need to do some research before calling anyone a liar and make a fool of yourself !

  6.  @sorenjorgensen5334  It wasnt a failure at all ...the UK Vulcan bombers carried them for some time.... but again,its just an air launched ballistic missile, the same as the Kinzhal ...thats the point ! New "Hypersonic" weapons are in two catagories , HGV and Cruise , Kinzhal is neither... is it so hard to understand and accept ?

  13.  @Lipi19821  So is the Kinzhal ....its impossible to achieve hypersonic speed at lower level, the air is too "thick" ..it also has to slow to supersonic speed.... hence can be intercepted !
