@Tracymongo Russia tries to position itself as a hi-tech economy based around high profile initiatives in space exploration and military technology, but forgets about the " bread and butter " of running a country ..The Global Innovation Index ranks them 45th place after Vietnam and Thailand, mainly due to failure to invest in research and development ... this war is going to set them back even further !

@yoonusk2115 The US were the first to make a basic hypersonic missile just after ww2... and how do you know it cant be taken down ? ... you seen proof ? 8% of Russian army is a bit of a joke , they probably using more like 75% that's why Putin is desperately pleading for more recruits to join the army.

@nataliav4335 Russian economy relies on Western tech ... aviation , manufacturing sector , computer equipment and military...even the Bank of Russia said they face years of reverse industrialization due to lack of technology.
