Putin badly miscalculated the entire situation within Ukraine. He sits in a very precarious position backing himself into a corner now desperate for a victory - ANY sort of victory however small to satisfy his own ego... He’s set back Russia decades through all this.. The Russian people deserve better....they need better !

@harriemeeuwis978 Gorbachev before his sad death apparently blasted Putin for having 'destroyed' his life's work. I know a lot of Russians didn't like like him but to myself and a lot of others he seemed an honest good man willing to give and take with everyone ! Be nice if they could get someone similar.
