They only hypersonic in the high atmosphere ... only supersonic when they get lower, hence can be intercepted !

Kinzhal is a ballistic missile air launched on a "quasi ballistic" path, limited movement in the high atmosphere probably tops at around Mach7-8 , and slows to supersonic speeds in the lower ( thicker ) air in its terminal phase , Its impossible to travel at hypersonic speed at low level ... you bots really need to get a physics lesson.
