Putting it into perspective It took Russia almost a year with around 80,000 killed and more wounded to take around 390 square km in Avdiivka, hailed in Russia as a "genius" move. Ukraine , in 5 days, have taken more than 470 square km with hardly any losses to speak of ( 700 square km according to Russian claims ) and capturing hundreds of POW`s... and yet no stopping them in sight .... EMBARRASSING !

Turned out pretty well , Russia, with Ukraine's assistance, is steadily demilitarising itself anyway.....add into that economic collapse and their demographic disaster and time is very much against them. Ukraine has shown the world that Russia’s military was way too overrated, It’s been an embarrassment for them at every level !

They required a ceasefire, withdrawal of foreign military forces, disbanding of illegal armed groups, and returning control of the Ukrainian side of the international border with Russia to Ukraine, all of this under OSCE supervision... Russia done none of this !

Also into consideration is that the US has a 2.6% launch failure compared to Russia's 80% failure !
