  1. I had an epiphany the other day. We were talking about why recycling isn't used much. I explained about the different types of plastic containers and then it hit me - you could either leave the bar code label on it or use OCR to see the plastic type that's supposed to be stamped on the container. Then sort based upon that. But until the process to recycle is less expensive than creating new plastics I'm afraid that would be moot.
