  1. The inventions that created our modern day time are incredible. The vacuum tube of course, but the transitor which beget the integrated circuit or iC, then of course there's Claude Shannon here's a guy who came up with Information Theory and then rested on his laurels. Plus information theory became information science which I have my B.Sc. in.
