I worked with a company doing genetic sequencing. So I understand how it works. A hint, the process is very similar to color photography developing. And the first part is PCR amplification. And in my case we use Ion Torrent Proton Sequencers. We were doing exomes as those were huge enough as is. In 16 months we went through 15,000 different exomes. Part of the MIllion Veteran Program. And we did 23andMe - I come out as not so much Italian-American and found out my ancestors were rolling stones from all over Europe. Someone else found out they aren't so much African - as they're fully 15% European.

I try to apply the same with comments on YouTube. However once someone starts with ad hominem attacks all bets are off.

It's funny - I cam to the Fourier series not through any traditional method but through studying phase angles for amateur radio work. Plus I recall plotting curve functions a long time ago.

If you really want to get freaked - now you can 'breathe' without pulmonary action. Yep - 30 to 45 minutes they can oxygenate blood without using the lungs. Pretty cool huh? It's a DARPA project.

Put it this way - beyond the remote for the xmas tree lights I will NOT use Alexa, Google's Assistant or the like. I'll go with a plain old non-connected door lock. And of course I'm sure you've heard about Ring and how people are running pranks on people that have them. Because in all of this security is an afterthought. And pin codes on an iphone - people usually just use their birth month and year or year alone. So start at 1900. And one defeat - if it's not visible it cannot be hacked using this method.

Yeah Luke Talley is pretty damned cool. My mothers side of the family is where I get my engineering skills from. My great grandfather has a patent in his name for a modification of the Jacquard Loom, and his sons worked on the Apollo program - EG&G Seal-All.

Could do a spring loaded pusher with a string. That way each time you'd get the same push.

I did a contract in a genetic lab in Cambridge MA. It's fascinating how much the process has in common with color film development. We used Ion Proton Sequencers. And yeah, 80GB per exome that we sequenced. It was part of the Million Veteran Program with the Veterans Administration.

Oh and another thing. The reason the right side of the heart is so much smaller than the left: The right side is what circulates blood to the lungs and has to be low pressure. The left side pumps to the body and so is a high pressure system.

Wow getting a baseball up to mach 1.5 - Hmmm I wonder what's escape velocity? I believe it's Ve = SQRT(2GM/r) Where G is gravitational constant and M is mass. What's the mass of baseball. 145gm.

I'll say that we should use the algorithmic method.
