It's funny I get tagged as a prepper because I have my federal amateur radio license and I own a couple guns. But that's not the reason and I know the original intent of the 2nd amendment - it wasn't so everyone can open carry. Let me explain the men who created that document and its amendments knew the dangers of a standing army. So their thing was they wanted an armed populace instead. And the amendment I see regularly violated is the 4th and 5th. Do you remember what they are? Yeah the right not to incriminate yourself and to be secure in your person, papers and things. Oh and that pastor I'm also a gay man and I know what love is. And I also don't believe in any god whatsoever.
