The way I see it the government can purchase a copy of the book.

What the people need to do is make the politicians that represent them very uncomfortable. Picket their homes until they change the laws that allow the city to do such horrid things and abolish enforcement.

It is ludicrous that you can sell pickled and ciders but not baked goods. It's pretty obvious btw who lobbied that particular law - the bakeries. But the thing is, where I live the bakeries are going extinct. So what are you supposed to do? I make my own of course.

Well - here's the thing. I bet all of these people are either setup as sole proprietorships. Setup as a C Class corporation. They get away with murder.

Oh I remember Kelo and at the time of the ruling I thought it was completely asinine. Still think the same today.

Well of course it's unconstitutional. It's just that corporate America operates under a very different rule set than you and I. That's also why if you own a small business do yourself a favor and talk to an attorney.

Wow - that's something else. In my area way out here on the East coast - a local business owner rented a property to open what was called an Urban Farm Store. She sold things like mason jars, gardening gear, etc. Well the church that owned the property started putting up interference. We actually raised $10,000 for the small business owner, attended zoning hearings, etc. So the store opened and stayed that way for a few years. Then had to shut down as the church wants the property for something else. It's unreal.

BillyJoe1305 That is bizarre. The corporation is usually filed with the state and then you elect the type with the IRS. And LLC is usually pretty bulletproof.
