  1. I found out I don't black out or forget when I'm drunk. It's been a long time since I've been drunk too. And yeah sugared drinks were cut out too. I'm 5'8" which is 173cm. And I weigh 150lbs or 68KG though before I cut the sugars back I weighed 240lbs or 108KG

  5. The way I explain it to people follows: Dogs if left on their own in a house will eat the couch. Cats on the other hand can take care of themselves. Sure they might scratch at the sofa but I can forgive scrathed sofas versus eaten sofas.

  7. I've had two MRIs, one of the skull, the other of my spine. Went off without a hitch. The spouse on the other hand has a piece of meta embedded in his cheek from an accident when he was a child. He thought it was a stone, nope metal. They found out when they tried to do a head MRI. Funny story my head MRI I watched them build the machine. It was down the hall from my office at the time.

  8. I have an original Wii. But don't use it - most of my old school Nintendo stuff you can get the ROMS online and just use JNES to play them. And I have a Steam account.

  11. I can think of one way to control China. Take away most favored nation from it and stop its exports. I find it funny we could deal with the Soviet Union but we cannot do the same to China.

  12. I'm not certain that there are aliens among us.If you understood what a light year is you'd understand why I said that. They would have to have discovered Faster than light travel which is difficult at best. Now time traveling humans - that one I can buy but there are problems with that as well. If they come from our future it means our future is already pre-ordained.

  13. I've used all four - Windows 7, Windows 10, OS-X and RedHat/Ubuntu. Windows 10 is my main gaming platform. Now phones - I see lots more people with iPhones than android based phones. I carry the latter. Cannot stand idevices.

  19. Well - the way I see it is it would disintegrate you and store every single detail about your and your biome. Then there's the medical angle - cancers could be stripped out of the teleported person or even changes could be made to push evolution further.

  25. Cold or hypohtermia is one thing that has had enormous benefit. But I also know a few years ago DARPA was working on a drug that could be used in the battlefield. It would put the body into a twilight state metabolically. Wonder if they were successful.
