  1. You want good coffee - buy the green dried beans and roast them yourself. You can do it in a pan on the stove, or buy a cheap popcorn stir machine. In those machines use time - usually 20 to 35 minutes depending on the beans. For example I love Costa Rican Dota Estate beans and they take 25 minutes. Then grind 8 to 16 oz as you need it. 2oz into a French Press is perfect.
