  1. Something similar happened in Providence and Cranston, RI in 2010. Particularly the Valley section of Providence near the Woonasquatucket. You see 10 days of consistent rain managed to flood the states main drinking water reservoir. The reservoirs spillways dumped into, you guessed it the Woonasquatucket river. Took out a bunch of bridges, water up to the roof line particularly in western Cranston. It was bad.
