  1. Interesting - I know Scotty Kilmer doesn't like VW's at all. Says they're unreliable. I've driven a 2016 and 2017 Golf and gotta say they're fun to drive. But the price for the Type R is too much - I'd pay $5460 in taxes the first year. That's 13%. So I don't think I'd be buying one. And I'd stay far away from the Focus RS if only because the engines have a propensity to eat head gaskets for breakfast.
