  1. And David, you make the point for common carrier status of cable data networks. And here in Providence I have the choice of Cox or Verizon - a duopoly. Neither is a bargain and I've experience horror stories from the former, and really bad horror stories from the latter. So what choice is there?

  2. Yeah, to hell with Time Warner. But then Comcast isn't anything special either. And I'm rather pissed at Cox - my monthly bill just shot up $10. They say it's energy costs but electricity has been stable so what the hell.
