  1. I'm not so sure. Here's why: There is increasing evidence of the damage done by alcohol to the developing brain. Add to that the fact that the frontal cortex doesn't complete growth until approximately age 26. Then add toxicity. The effective to fatal dose for alcohol 1:10, in other words if two beers gets you buzzed, 20 will kill you. Marijuana on the other hand is 1:1000, and that thousand is literally impossible to smoke.
