  1. Haven't watched the movie but so far the first two episode of Dear White People are more about criticising black people. The white characters, even the 'alt-right' guy, are pretty intelligent. The show doesn't really interest me but it's quite clear that the title and the trailer were meant to create controversy whereas the show itself is pretty tame and mostly catered towards black people dealing with black culture issues. So yeah, fuck them. Their cynical marketing ploy failed and an otherwise ordinary show will bomb because of it.
