  1. The characters were utterly forgettable. But the world-building made up for it. Rogue One would probably be more interesting if it was told from Mad Mikkelsen's character. Having to reluctantly make a super weapon is a great personal dilemma that they movie only briefly touched on.

  3. I loved it as a kid, I also loved Dune. The notion that movies could be bad didn't occur to me back then.

  4. You should check out the channel 'Pop Culture Detective' it's quite creepy. The guy reviews movies through a SJW lense and systematically shadow-deletes any posts that are even mildly critical of his work, leaving a massive cult-like sycophant comment section. His defense of The Last Jedi is particularly weaselish. Especially when you hold it against Mr Plinkett's review or Mauler's reviews.
