  1. It's still global warming. Global temperature is already 2 degrees warmer than pre-industrial times and projected to warm between another 2 and 4 degrees before the end of this century. For comparison. The last ice age was at it's coldest only 4 degrees colder than pre-industrial times.

  2. Are you familiar with the concept of averages? We're talking about the global temperature here. Who cares what temperatures it are in one specific location when we have permafrost melting in the arctic and our planet rapidly losing it's albedo surface.

  3. The pre-industrial age wasn't 20 years ago either. We're talking about the start of the industrial revolution, the period before steam engines and thus before fossil fuels. We've been measuring the global temperature since 1880, between 1900 and 2017 we've warmed 1.8 degrees.
