  1. It really shows the weird regard in which our society views formal education. It's more than just a certificate showing a certain skill. It's an accolade, a status symbol. There's something esoteric about college diplomas. Our society needs young generations to pursue after this golden star to keep them jumping through hoops and buy into the conditioning along the way. And yes, I have a degree, I wish I didn't. I wish I spend the money elsewhere.
