  1. That's why calling 'antisemitism' doesn't work. Yes it is largely anti-Semitic, but the Westerners opposing Israel don't consider themselves anti-Jewish not even at a deep emotional level. Instead their hatred is anti-Western in nature and they see Israel as an avatar of Western hegemony.
