  1. I hate guns and I despise the NRA and their tactics. Ban all firearms for all I care. BUT here he has a point. We can't keep pretending Islam is not a factor here. We can't pretend that an Orlando Iman preaching lethal action against gays ('out of mercy') in the same week that the shooting happened is completely unrelated. This isn't holding Muslims accountable, this is openly discussing the idea set that drove Omar. As long as there's a taboo on that people like Trump will keep mustering support.

  2. Yes what that pastor said was hate-speech pur sang. However, we're not going out of our way to avoid calling right wing terrorism by it's name in case we offend the political right who aren't terrorists.
