  2.  @alan2102X  It's only a problem in the Netherlands because the thresholds are set way lower than any other country. Dutch ecologists defined extremely scarce soil as 'natural' and now the whole densely packed country has to pretend that this is an achievable form of nature.

  3.  @luukielol1  the ground isn't acidifying. The whole problem revolves around nutrient-rich plants outcompeting nutrient-poor plants. It's a deranged thing to try and regulate.
