  1. ​ @davidpereira9238  that's still inadequate. Low-wage labour immigrants are still a net fiscal burden on the economy. Meaning they take more out of the system in facilities than their work yields in tax revenue. The only people who profiteer off this are the employers while society is left holding the bag. When Rishi Sunak said migrants could only bring their family to the UK if they made more than 38k quid, he didn't pull that number out of his ass. That's got to be the break-even point after which an immigrant becomes a net fiscal contributor.
