  1. Section 230 allows for curation. The problem with section 230 is that it was, quite wisely at the time, implemented to encourage the growth of the internet. It was a gift from the government. But it was conceived in the 90's, long before social media took off. Now that social media has completely drowned out other avenues of public discourse the laws regarding it seem dated.
