  1. I don't believe people want the robust picture of how the 'American Dream' is generally refined. What they want is to have the resources that it would take and arrange it according to their own idea. It's becoming blatantly obvious that the median person cannot obtain such resources any longer. So her message of 'just settle for less and throw a bunch of dinner parties' is exceptionally shrill.
