  1. Your comments about viral load got me thinking. If the initial viral load determines the severity of the symptoms and risk of death, then aren't people who are living with an infected person at a much higher risk than the infected person themselves? The chance of them ingesting a high viral load through contaminated objects is much higher than getting infected through the air.
