  1. Italy has a disproportionate amount of Chinese guest worker enclaves so that seems to explain why the virus arrived sooner. In a grim silverlining, them being the canary in the coalmine is what helped the rest of Europe to respond better.

  2. Without Italy getting it first we wouldn't be in lock down right now. We'd all be out, mass gatherings, sports events coughing in each other's faces.
