  1. By swapping to 80 arbitrary parameters that nobody is defending you're creating a motte and bailey. If you have an issue with these 4 parameters, then address those. Don't make up 76 more conditions that you can then blanketly swap away as absurd. But credit where credit is due, you've made thousands of commenters fall for your cheap parlor trick.

  3. That's doing a disservice to what we already know about biochemistry. We know which elements exist in our universe, we know how they behave under various, even theoretical conditions. We're able to abstract what's possible and importantly, we're able to abstract what isn't. That's why the silicon based lifeforms theory doesn't get you anywhere when you're looking for intelligent life. The amount of possibilities are simply too limited.
