  1. If you don't allow people to deal with Islam as an idea that can be criticised then you leave people no choice to generalise all Muslims as either entirely malevolent or entirely malicious. So if you want to treat Muslims with dignity, as the regressive left purports to do, then it should be open season on Islam as a religious concept by now.
