  1. I'd like a female perspective on our fertility rate. For a population to be sustained at an equal level, 2.1 children per average woman are needed. If it falls below that number, the population starts shrinking until women start having 2.1 children each again. US women have 1.64 children on average, way below sustainable and therefore we're shrinking every day towards zero that fertility rate number isn't 2.1. There's no clever solution out of this other than increasing the number of children per woman. No policy trick or technological invention that gets us out of this one.
