  1. KEK has really interesting origins. 'KEK' is an algorithmic invention. It's semi random. It's derived from the game World of Warcraft where two factions aren't meant to be directly communicating to each other. So when a player from the 'Horde' side talks to an 'Alliance' side player his chat will be automatically garbled into something that sounds shamanistic but unintelligible to other players. The word 'LOL", one of the most uttered phrases between these factions, is presented to the other side as 'KEK'. So that's when 4Chan as a counter culture started adopting the word 'KEK' for 'LOL' it's literally something to express their humour that can't directly be understood by outsiders. And from there on they turned 'KEK' into a godlike entity, the god of memes.
