What happens in these universities keeps reminding me of the book Three Body Problem It's a science fiction novel by Liu Cixin, it's story starts during the advent of the Chinese Cultural Revolution and describes the way the revolutionary youth possessed by communism are taking over the universities and publicly chastising any student or teacher suspected of espousing 'reactionary' ideas.
