  1. It's the Dark Knight effect. A movie that created some of the most memorable scenes in cinema. After that every movie tried to be like the Dark Knight but they forgot that in between the breathtaking scenes there was an actual plot that made the scenes so breathtaking. Instead we get movies that are first about the effect while anything in the story is superfluous.
