  1. Hawbucks is attempting to breed healthier bulldogs, though this indeed also involves deflattening the face. I'd say that's worth it, a dog is a companion, not an ornament.

  2.  @rekkariley652  I think what's meant is that people are becoming less puritan about the breeds and are willing to drop certain features in exchange for a healthier (and happier) dog.
