A Marxist has to resort to other wedges, like race and sexual identity, now that the old 'bourgeoise owe the proletariat their wealth' no longer works as people don't identify as working class anymore. The debate has stalled because the issue was never the issue. This man is arguing for his right to use a political device for his ideology.
