  1. Not even on the same scale or magnitude but the public is already sufficiently pissed off a celebrity like Jussie Smollett walled free. If such a monster like Epstein gets to flee custody then that could be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I don't think even a corrupt judge would risk that.
