@edtim3550 Doesn't it bother you that in these discussions the targets are completely vague? What are we trying to do here? What does 'stopping the virus' actually mean? Are we trying to stop the entire contagion, or minimize the casualties or minimize the long therm economic damage? If we had put everything on lockdown the moment China announced the virus we'd be four months with a crippled economy, massive shortages and scarcity, unparalleled unemployment. But at least hardly anyone would have died, at least not from the virus itself. I'm not sure people who are willing to pay this price are understand the implications of what they're saying.

@Tim Tam if this fire doesn't burn there's a lot more fuel waiting for it to ignite once more further down the road.
