  1. You're using the Ali prices though. I just bought a bunch of neoprene wintersport headmasks for 2$, I'd be paying 30$ for them on a Western store and 60$ in any shop in the mountains.

  2. Most of the Apple products are made in China but China only grabs about 5% of the final price in labour costs. I think that goes a long way towards explaining why the Chinese charge different prices to Westerners. They know they have the money and are willing to spend it.
