  1. Let's suppose climate change is the most severe and urgent problem we have right now. Then it still doesn't warrant a Soviet-style citizen's council being able to overrule the government. That neither solves the problem nor would it be worth uprooting Western civilisation if it did. This is pure Communist strategy and transparently so.

  2. That's daft. The atmosphere consists of 21% oxygen. There isn't enough fuel on the planet to spend all that oxygen.
