  11. I think Dan is onto something and it's not even hypothetical. You can load up your brain with models and mechanisms that will improve your ability to reason and analyse. I'm not sure what they are, I'm not sure what the best combination of them is, and I'm sure there's also ideas you can adopt that will decrease your mental faculties. But yeah, intelligence can be learned as a multiplier on your 'hardware'. Which means that indeed eventually we'll be able to improve the thinking of children in their teenage years in ways that will have them outmatch college students today.

  15. I get what you're trying to do with the backdrop but it's a bit swing and miss. People want less stimulation and a return to primal aesthetics. Paint the wall grey, keep the palms, add some bamboo and banana plants (they love large pots btw) and add some flame led bulbs. You can still keep some of the colours to taste, but it would make look everything look way less garish.
