  1. 1:35 Joe Rogan doesn't understand hypergamy, enforced monogamy is basically the redistribution of testosteron. Rather than single women all going after the few top tier men, they would have to (be encouraged to) settle with one guy. If the top tier men marry then there's more women to go around for other guys. That's the way Peterson approaches it. Absolutely pathetic of course, but he's right in that's one of the reasons we have marriage at all. Of course it's not the top tier men who're going to stay monogamous, so the whole thing breaks down there.
