  1. For all we know there could be countless big bangs going on at the same time. In 'related videos' there's a clip by the bbc where some guys explain it trough the collision of rippling branes: "Before the Big Bang: looking back in time - Parallel Universes - BBC science " In that way, our universe isn't any more improbable then our planet in a huge sea of stars and planets. Exceptional? yes! Improbable? Not at all!
