And they have their own definition of democracy. They don't like elections, they like labour representatives that elect leaders on behalf of everyone else, creating a far more hierarchical society than capitalism ever will. However, they never mention any of this it serves to have people operate under the idea that their version of democracy is the same as everyone else's.

Your case would be way stronger if you worked on your decorum more. You don't have to point out Vaush is talking fast, using big words and merely tries to look smart. That's poisoning the well and it's implying we already didn't figure it out for ourselves. You intellectually destroy opponents through generosity. Put their ideas in the strongest light, ignore any form mistakes or dishonest slights, and address the core to the best to your abilities. Keep that high ground and anyone else looks bad in comparison in such an obvious way that nothing needs to be pointed out.
