  2. @shushanna1986 you really should look it up. The area was Persian, then Ottoman, then russian empire. When part of persia the province of Azerbaijan included this region. The region was autonomous in the empire, and throughout most of the USSR, a sliver carved out cutting it off from Azerbaijan by the reds. Near the fall of the USSR the autonomous region declared they were an autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. Then in 1994 Armenia invaded and widened their control over the area. Azerbaijan is just getting their land back.

  3.  @SurSurSur  "thousands of years" You mean less then 100 right? Azerbaijan has held the territory until the 1960s. It's been Armenian for about 60 years not thousands 😕 😒 😑 😐 🙃
