  1. That one art joke had me rolling. When i was 20 i lived in a small loft with a few artists. For Ryan's birthday we got a cake with a lady on it, we wrote "Ceci n'est pas une salope" in icing 😂😂😂😂 i still get a kick out of it like 12 years later.

  3. Did you even watch the video? They are paid less then minimum wage and told they should make it up in tips. There's a reason your country is ranked #22 for living standards. The rich are always exploiting the poor in your country, and the people in the middle defend your rich in the misguided belief you'll somehow get yours.

  5. Here in some provinces we used to have "training wage" which was $2.75 less per hour. It was a special lower wage that impacted first time employees, and became popular with minimum wage jobs. It was removed early 2000s in all the provinces. In practice companies would fire people just before they hit regular wage, and because they never hit regular wage, another fast food establishment could hire them on training wage again. There was like a 2,000 hour cap they had to reach in their position, that most were fired before hitting. Luckily this US style experiment only lasted about a decade.

  7. Wait, which province? In BC minimum wage is minimum wage. We had training wage and tipped wage in the 90s and early 2000s but we removed it all. What province is still practicing this malarkey? I was pretty sure sub minimum wage was abandoned across Canada.
